    • OFF TOPIC : I tried to post a reply here . It sent me to log in then back to the home page ???? Been doing that to me for a while ( I have devel access and use chrome btw ) I finally got back here by using the search in the forum after logging in ...Chrome bug?

ON TOPIC : For those with this problem I found a way to find out whats happening
I tried to change my MAIN BODY ( In dominion ) from 2 positions to 1
I wanted to use a Iframe on a page so I wanted the full width but it kept keeping it in the right hand side
It would not stick in Gantry ( Kept reverting upon APPLY / SAVE )
The slider for MAIN BODY said I had 2 Positions Published
SO I finally worked out : LOOK AT WHATS PUBLISHED as you can't make it less ( My Case 1 Position ) if you have 2 published .
( BTW just a thought , if upon applying/saving , Could the Gantry come back with an error to alert people of the problem ie: Can't change to 1 position as there are 2 published . )
SO I looked at what the slider said
      it said
      POSITIONS 1 2 3 4
      SA | MB
      (SA = Sidebar A | MB = Main Body )
On my page I was sure nothing was published to the Sidebar A
But when I looked , The JOOMLA MENU was published there to that page
BUT - It left a blank area in sidebar A thus pushing the wrapper ( iframe ) over to the right
      I wondered why ?
ANSWER:-Because I had removed the Joomla Menu from the whole site
So even though it was removed , Because the module was published there and not visible as there was nothing to display, it could not give me the whole width in the sliders ( ie:- 1 Position )
SO READ WHAT IS PUBLISHED in your slider positions and go through your modules and unpublish or remove the ones you do not need or simply remove the page from the MENU ASSIGNMENT LIST in the offending module

      hi there,

i just tried your link but it returns a 404 error.
if you still need help with this, please let me know.
in general, all you need to do is publish modules in top-a, top-b and top-c. then also publish modules to navigation-a, navigation-b and nabvigation-c. then in the template's layout settings, make sure to set the slider for top and navigation for 3 positions to a distribution of 4/4/4.

      kat :)
