There is no further news on the issue. When we have fixed the issue (if it is confirmed by our DEVS). You will see an updated version of gantry issued.

I use Ignite Gallery and Mike Reumer's Google Map plugin extensively and will be rolling back to Gantry 4.1.19 as this should fix the Ignite Gallery Lightbox (and likely the Google Map Plugin also).
Please make a compatible Gantry version! These extensions have always worked wonderfully together with RT templates. - Cebsource Creative & Technical Services

This is pretty poor form by RT to be dragging this out.
What are the implications of commenting out the code.
Isn't downgrading the Gantry framework less impacting?

Customer Service Tip:
NEVER tell paying subscribers that you can't do a fix because you're "flat-out working (on your own stuff)".
I pay for RocketTheme and Ignite Gallery. My clients pay me to create functional websites. I don't have the luxury of passing the buck back to your "extremely busy with internal work" devs.
Perhaps your supervisor can provide us an ETA for the Gantry fix?
