SOLVED Issue with Ignite Gallery and new Gantry Framework

There is an issue with the latest version of Ignite gallery and new Gantry (4.1.20) framework.
With the Ignite Gallery, the images do not popup when you click on the thumbnail. After trying to trace back my steps as to where I went wrong, I contacted Ignite developers and was directed to the following post:-

Basically:-
If you go to libraries/gantry/js/browser-
engines.js and comment out this line:this.Window = this.$constructor = new Type("Window", function () {});
All should be working again.

We make heavy use of the Ignite Gallery and are having the same issue as listed in the original post.

Having the same issue, is it okay to downgrade the gantry version until this issue is resolved or is there a better work around?

The DEVS have yet to look at this - so the only solutions for now would be to either downgrade or change the line of code as indicated above.

Once again - changing code as indicated - thanks (again) for the temp solution.
Just thought this time through I'd jump into the fray and request that DEVS handle this. - My alter-ego wishes he had RocketThemes!

I'm working on Corvus theme but i can't go my site online beacause of this...

All our developers are flat-out working on the new RTV3 site. The bug will be addressed in due course, in the mean time a workaround has been provided above.

Perhaps... but this bug is very annoying and it is a mistake from the devs...
as the plugin author said "As all of us Joomla extension developers need to run js on the same page, we need to write code that respects the standard way of calling mootools and jquery, and work together to make the job easier for us and the Joomla users, please respond to this issue and fix this in the next release."
