Any news on Joomla 1.6 templates?

Hi, im just wondering if you can tell us any of your plans to roll out 1.6 versions of your templates?
The Joomla 1.6 RC1 is set to be made available next week which many people view as stable enough to start developing live sites with. I've tried a couple of you templates on a beta version which seem to work but the gantry system doesn't seem compatible just yet...
Im sure your working on things behind the scenes, can you offer any clues as to when we can expect official 1.6 templates?

If I were a betting man (and I am
), I would bet that the first J! 1.6 template will roll off the RT production lines the month following the month of the offical stable release of J! 1.6.

- We fully intend to convert our previous templates to 1.6 in time. It will take some time because not only do we have to convert our templates, but also our extensions. Everything changes in 1.6, and there is no compatibility mode at all. I would not jump on 1.6 too fast, you will find that the extensions ecosphere will be very barren for quite a few months after 1.6 is released.

That's what I was thinking in regards to extensions....

Not good then...I knew there was a reason I've been avoiding 1.6....must have been all the pain starting websites in 1.5 when it was RC~~~and wishing I had done them in 1.0x for a while before upgrading. (Noob Mistake )
Honestly from everything I'm reading 1.6 isn't all that if you're clever with 1.5.

RHonestly from everything I'm reading 1.6 isn't all that if you're clever with 1.5.dont know about that... the user group access system has been totally improved and the new templating system offers loads more opportunities that aren't possible in 1.5

I have to develop a site for a client in the next 2 to 4 months. I know 1.6 will be out soon, but with this I have a major problem. What to do? Develop for 1.6, or stick to 1.5.x and then invest more time in a 1.5.x - 1.6 upgrade?
Given the fact third party components for 1.6 are rather in a "non-existent " stage :cheesy: , I tend to choose 1.5, that's more mature. But then, in a few months the situation can change dramatically.
What to do...what to do?
