RokGallery - I need the new version!

    • Hi there,

      I bought my Rocket Theme subscription in December last year, it expired in March but only now have I had a chance to start using the RokGallery component. I have just tried to create a new gallery (worked fine) and now I'm trying to upload my images, but no matter what size/type/name I receive this error message:

      An error occurred: Rollback failed. There is no active transaction.

      I have looked over at the rok gallery forums and tried editing permissions but with no luck, the RokGallery version is 2.6 which I believe is outdated and it looks like the new version will solve my issue, but I cannot download it without renewing which is not an option for us.

      The site runs the Reflex template which Joomla 2.5 (all up-to-date). I tried to update via the Joomla Updater but RokGallery doesn't seem to receive updates over that system.

      Please can you provide me the new version (PM me a link) or give me instructions to solve the issue.

      PS - The site fully meets the RokGallery requirements

      I don't want to keep bumping but I did pay for this extension and it doesn't work properly.

      Please someone from RocketTheme help me with this.

    • I would second this request also. My subscription only ended in March and I'm finally getting a chance to use the Reflex Wordpress template now. However I am massive file and permission errors with the RokGallery plugin. For example when I attempt to edit any of the demo galleries I get a File Settings error. Why? Also if I try to select a Gallery I get a window pop up with nothing more than Undefined printed in it. Why?

      Any chance of some support before I file a complaint with PayPal and other organisations?

    • I contacted yourselves directly via that facility yesterday and still haven't received a response of any kind. This is ridiculous! It would appear that no attempt has been made to solve this grievance of any kind. Needless to say I will have to seriously reconsider renewing my subscription with you guys after this fiasco.

    • Hi there,

      First of all I would like to point out that you paid for membership of a template club. We give all template club members access to extensions at no charge.

      Secondly your membership has expired. Bit like buying groceries, allowing them to go past their sell by date and then asking the supermarket to replace them because you didn't find time to use them. :oops:

      The error message you have provided usually means that your tmp or log paths are incorrect or unwritable.
