    • Hi,

Thanks a lot for your help David!

I checked technical announcements on my hosts website, and it looks like they really have some technical problems since at least few days. So I'll just wait until they solve them... Hopefully it will be soon :-)

I'm only amateur in domain of webmastering (that's my first website ever), so it was a very big help I got from you guys.

      Thanks again!

And I actually don't know when exactly the problem appeard. I recently updated Joomla to newer version (2 or 3 times).

Maybe I'm reading too much into that statement but when you FIRST installed it could you manipulate the RokSprocket module settings?

If so it probably is an extension or plugin that you've recently added.

Try this, backup your site with a free copy of Akeeba backup then in the Admin -> Extend or Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Manage select the DISPLAY to ALL. Then uninstall every item that doesn't say Joomla Project or Rockettheme. If RokSprocket works then it one of them.

      Hi Everybody again,

Sorry for refreshing the old topic again. It's only because it was first today when I finally solved my problem. After I got errors description from David, I sent that forward to my host and asked them for help.
Then after severall days of discussion "it's your fault" - "no it's your fault", I finally decided to use DanG's suggestion.

After uninstallation of few components who doesn't say Joomla or Rockettheme - everything works again :-)

Thanks for help once again :-)

I would say 30% of our issues arise with the clients choice of hoster and 40% with apps that don't realize a majority of users don't create sites on the Joomla native installation. They use templates which are usually associated with frameworks and those developers don't have the budgets to account for that :(

Glad to hear you've resloved your issue

    • Hi Chrysa,

2 years ago you would have had a subscription and that would have given you access to the forums.

You don't mention which version of Joomla, nor the version of the template, or gantry version. As Joomla moves on we update the templates as required. A subscription entitles you to access those updates. As you did not renew your subscription you have not had access to updates.

Hosting companies update server software on a regular basis. It could be that something on the server has changed to cause your problems.

The fracture template is on version 1.9 and is working fine. Since last year there has been the choice of buying a template with lifetime updates or having a subscription. In order to get the latest version of the template will require you to do one or the other.

      Hope this helps 8)

    • Thanks for the quick response.

      The joomla version is 2.5.28
      The gantry version is 4.1.28
      The roksprocket version is 1.8.0

I know that the problem is in the moofx.js file, and a possible solution is updating the roksprocket,as I've read in the Forum. But, i want to mention that the problem existed from the beggining (2years ago). Now, my customer wants this fix because the problem occurs beyond the browsers (opera,ie,chrome) and to mobile phones default browsers. the solution you propose is to buy an update?? althouth i have already paid earlier my subscription?

You do not mention what version your template is.

RokSprocket is available FREE and latest version is 2.1.2 and you are running 1.8.0

First of all please understand that our subscription plans are time based and they will expire.

The browsers are updating even faster than server software so all the more reason to either have a subscription or buy a lifetime copy of the template.

If your customer bought a Ford 2 years ago and had problems but never went back to the dealership do you think they would give him the newer model? I don't think so.

As you are providing websites to clients it is part of your responsibility and duty to help your customer remain up to date. If that means you keep resubscribing to a developer plan or buy templates and then charge client for the lifetime access then that is what you do.

When you signed up and bought the first template you agreed to the Terms of service and they clearly explain your entitlements.
