    • I must make a comment on this! $75 is reasonable for access to the templates however I require resolutions to cross browser and javascript issues after my membership expired. Am I required to pay membership fees again to have these issue resolved on the template I downloaded during my membership?

      Please Clarify!

    • Yes.
    • Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

    • I am a RT member for quite some time now and as a test downloaded the whole bunch of phpbb3 comps, mods and the free afterburner style. I installed phpbb3, which went perfect. Then I copied the style to the template dir in the phpbb3 dir. I installed and activated the style. Then I get this:

      General error:
template->_tpl_load_file(): File ./styles/prosilver/template/../../../rokbb3.php does not exist or is empty

No idea what that means, but before I even consider also becoming a phpbb3 member, I want to make really sure that I can get it to work as it should without having to sort out problems first.

So, I don't know how you guys can help me out here, but I would really like to have this work before I become a phpbb3 member.

      Thanks in advance!
      Tom

    • Download rokbb3 and install it in phpbb3. It is from the same download area as the afterburner style.

    • Thanks, that was it! Didn't say anywhere this is needed to make it work though, might be handy. :)

I have one other thing that doesn't work, perhaps you know why. If I click on a forum topic or most other links in the forum, I get a 404. Links look like this:

      www.mydomainname.com/phpbb3/viewforum.php?f=2

The only time I have this is when links are set to SEF and old links are not updated. But that can't be, because phpbb3 is operating independantly from Joomla still. How can I make this work? I guess it's simple but you just need to know :)

      Thanks!

"the url is not valid and cannot be loaded"

this is my second (different) template that has done this - any ideas?

I think i was in top menu module and changed the listing from vertical to horizontal ??

I tried to change it how it was - but nothing is working.

    • I'm downloading it now so i can see where you've gone wrong. Normally you would make the changes in the template parameter options. The only reason you would need to make any adjustments in the module section is to publish, unpublish or change the module position. Unless there are parameter specific options in the module section.

    • I have looked at it and think the problem is because there is no quick launcher with the dummy content. There should be a position that says top, according to the module positions in the demo but there is none so you have to play around with the various position in the default joomla installation to the the menu to show up. Have a look at the module positions in the demo and you'll see what I'm talking about.
