IRC is a bit boring, but my predictions are that something new is going to arise.
By the way. With so many great (with exception of me
) experts on webmastering just looking for the possibility to do something together, just imagine ONE great website made by all. Maybe we should order some server somewhere and start making some great project?
I would like to participate in creating the best website in the World made on Joomla (plus Drupal etc.) In addition, I am 100 % sure that all Club Members have this dream too. Participate in the gretest project on Joomla.

IRC is just writing and writing chat. What's new in it.
The old is just like pasting from MS Word into Joomla. It is for nothing.

Ok so you are new at this. I suggest you do a Google search on the full capabilities of IRC. You can do much more than just chat

I Just got my main internet back, and couldn't believe to see the drupal badge there... Very Cool.. Thank you Andy!
I went to upgrade it, but cant go do that until 30 days out. Definitely will upgrade that baby.. I haven't used Drupal much, but from everything I have read over the past 6-8 months it is a good bet, and a lot of the extensions are very well written... - Send moderators PMs ONLY if they request it.

For keeping the moderators and Team in sync, IRC is far better than Skype.
It serves a special purpose, (not having to join chats or be invited) but as Prim mentioned it does a whole lot more.
When I first started using it I thought this look so 'Windows '98', but after using it, it really turns out to be pretty cool despite its lackluster appearance (compared to Skype, etc.).
Plus there are some cool IRC clients that don't look half bad, such as Trillian. - Thanks,

- Linkinus on the mac makes IRC a wonderful thing to use. Has things that skype and other IM don't like inline images and video, color coded nick's. Plus cool scripts. I much prefer it.
