    • Welcome Makenzie,

Maine is one of my FAVORITE places in the US.

In particular, Acadia National Park; over the past 25 years, I've spent close to a year there, camping, hiking, and just in general, enjoying life.
    • Thanks,

    • Hi everyone,

I just signed up recently. I've been lurking around the boards anonymously for a minute, and figured now's as good a time as any to introduce myself.

      I'M FROM: Louisiana (USA)

I FOUND RT WHEN: I began using Joomla! as a CMS for clients. I realized how easy branding Joomla! was, but didn't want to start from scratch. The best themes all appeared to come from RT. So, here I am.

FOR A LIVING I am a computer consultant. When I get the opportunity, I work on graphic design, web sites, music production, and anything else that sparks my interest.

THE BEST FILMS I'VE EVER SEEN ARE: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Quest for Fire, anything that gets me googling after I watch.

ON THE 8-TRACK RIGHT NOW AND WILL ALWAYS BE: Aesop Rock, Pink Floyd, The Roots, Led Zeppelin, J Dilla (RIP), The Beatles, and an endless supply of self-made instrumentals.

THE THING I WOULD LIKE TO DO RIGHT NOW THAT I HAVEN'T DONE IS: Finish. The. Album. Starting it would be nice, too.

SOMETHING I AM REALLY PROUD OF IS: our beautiful daughter, Cézanne. I had no idea anything so beautiful could come from within.

HOBBIES: Music, reading, hanging out with my lady, comprehending the 4th dimension... you know, stuff like that.

FAVORITE FOOD: anything my lady cooks. Before we met, ramen noodles and pancakes.

      So... hi, everyone!

I found RT when: I clicked on the fantastico happy face in one of my Cpanels and noticed Joomla. Then I started looking for templates.
The best film I've ever seen is: Pulp fiction "Look at the big brain on Brad"
The thing I'd like most to do, right now, that I haven't done is: Learning how to Ride a Bike (great cruising roads up here) an to Ski British Columbia and Colorado, Alps - New England is old hat
Something I'm really proud of is: My 3 boys

    • My name is Bjørnar Posse, and I stumbled upon this site after a google search for commercial templates. My second name has its origin in my young years in the 90's where Scooter owned my minidisc player. After some years on different forums with this nick, I figured it would be a lot easier to adopt Posse as a real name than changing a bunch of profiles. Well, enough about that.

I'm 24 years old and didn't have much experience with general webdesign until about 2 years ago, when a friend of mine introduced me to Joomla. I bought the Learning Webdesign-book (there's only one, isn't it? and took a semester of web design at my college. After that, I took another course in web publishing, to expand my skills in different CMS systems. However, I tend to prefer Joomla any day.

Besides my bachelor in media production I've started a small business with a co-student and colleague at my school. We run Freelancevideo.no and Freelancewebdesign.no. Recently I launched FairWeb.no, where we deliver sites for non-profit and voluntary organisations for the absolute minimum wage and no starting fee. I do this for ideologic reasons, after many years in different organisations.

I had no doubts about expanding my membership to developer, I've tried out most of the templates from 09-10 on different installations and I'm thrilled to see how a website can look at its best. I've got some psd-skills, so my next steps will probably be related to code editing and customizing.

Happy to join your community guys and girls =)

    • hey guys, happy to be here!
Am from Bangalore, India! finishing my graduation in Computer Science in a few days, so just some got time to play with my sites before work.
I thought I should pimp my sites using the awesome styles available here. I suck at photoshop! Its also very costly to buy. May be I can use gimp and you guys give us some gimp tutorials. Also lets hope that I can contribute something to this community !
