I know the subject is about Mambo and Joomla however I would like to point that Elxis is better of the two unfortunately it lacks community and extensions, hope the new version will change that. - VirtueShop

The 4.7 svn was locked down after someone took the source code, packaged it up and started selling it in Europe as their own CMS.
It will be opened again as soon as the beta is released.
EDIT: oh, and elxis does look pretty hot btw. -
