    • Switzerland - France: 0 - 0, not bad for a first match (I mean the result, the show was not very good football...)

    • The milky bars are on Andy!!!

Ps The Spainish are looking pretty good currently 2-0 up at half time. Brazil last night were rubbish compared to what we all come to expect!

    • that red card /penalty call was absolute BS. Ive never seen a worse call (ok a few).. but that was really really bad.

    • i wrote something yesterday about having to pick a team who you'd fancy to win based on teh first set of matches and for me it was spain

they played some great football, kept the ball well and didn't give it away too easily

germany are lucky, brazil looked normal, england were, well just england ... spain looked the real deal

b ut tonight is england again and we should beat T&T by 3 or 4 goals ... and rooney might be back but i'm not falling into the trap that he's what we've been missing

    • Damo - Agree with you on spain, they looked very good. Though it still was not the best match so far, for sure that one belongs to trinidad v sweden. Great game. Real guts shown by the tt players, most of which are in the second division here.

I've got a real funny feeling about tonight, TT could do another "sweden" and pull off the world cup shocker! England always have a problem when they think it's an easy game, lets hope sven doesn't do his dodgy subs thing again and put us in the poo!

Did anyone see the germans last night, damn it, I thought they weren't going to win. So many chances on goal, but it hit the bar twice and it just looked like they weren't going to get anything, even if they played all night long! How come they always seem to do this?
