Well it's about 3 hours away, I can't wait much longer as the nerves are slowly creeping in....how far wiil we make it?
Man, all I want is for us to get passed the group stage and not bomb out! Come on England!!! Come on ROONEY!!!

i'm england all the way, no compromise. i will be spending the 20th in a swedish bar. i'm not going to have too much to drink just in case ... the swedes don't like cocky drunk englishmen and i will be cocky and probably drunk if we win
i've purchased a huge amount of beer, a new 42" panasonic plasma and taken the next month off on all work related stuff, which actually means i'll probably be able to spend more time on here in between matches

Shame your not here in blighty, your missing out on all the white van man's flags they're everywhere!
Not to mention the bbc website steaming every game on their website, I don't think we'll get much work done now!!!
The girlfriend's old man got a huge plasma at xmas and signed upto sky hd, but the hd boxes are like gold dust at the mo, so he's well cheesed off!
Nice one for reminding me. Must get Beer!!!

England, England!!!!! I could barely sleep last night I was so excited for the world cup to start, got my lappy charged and ready to prop in the table whiile i sit in front of my bigscreen for the first game. I've got my authentic England World Cup 2006 red away shirt with Gerrard+number on it's way!!! Where is the damn thing!!!!
England is definately my #1 team as even though i have dual citizenship, i'll always be a brit first. USA is second of course and I wish them luck, but england is looking really strong this year, I think we have a great chance at pulling this one off.

heh.. what really sucks is that it's not in Hi-Def here in the states, at least these first few games. So i'll be watching it on my 46" but the bluriness of regular tv will just be enlarged

- nice! 2-1, germany is looking pretty solid but that offside trap stuff on defense is crap, they're gonna get themselves burned if they keep that up.
