    • just drop the favicon.ico into the root of your joomla installation

    • Hi,

I have done that. I have also dropped it in other places. I have installed Phoca. I have cleared everything in firefox, tried other browsers... NOTHING..

      Quite frustrating.

maybe you see it. www.riekieerasmus.co.za (if it is not there you will see a red dotty one)

    • I just did that on a site and it works.
May be you have to check rights for that file.
On your site I see a blue one?

You can also check you site with the webinspector in Safari or Chrome to show you the missing favicon as Joomla always trys to find one. Not sure what you mean with Phoca?

    • You see a Blue one.. Oh cool! thanks. I dont see it but it is a blueish one.

Phoca is an joomla extension that creates an ico file and puts it "somewhere" relative to the extension I guess.

      Thanks again.

      :D
