    • "California Cheese Burger?" Do tell....

(picturing a stereotypical tofu/veggie burger with lettuce, no meat, and some organic green spread). :)

    • From what "stereotypical" menu did you pick that up from? Trust me, there is nothing "California Cheese Burger" about the description above. For starters, California is know for its cheeses, its fresh produce and its beef. That in itself should shed some light on your imagination.

What I had in mind was a "California Cheese Burger" as we know it. An all beef patty served on a fresh dough bun spread with mustard and mayo (my personal favorite), topped with the cheese of your choice (today i'd pick Jack), fresh, crisp lettuce and tomato (grown right here in the fertile agricultural California valley), sliced thin crisp dill pickel (hmm? maybe German), and avacado (when in season), sometimes a slice of fresh mouth watering onion, sometimes not.

California is known for its gourmet burgers... not tofu/veggie. The messier, juicier, the better.

Ok, now I am beyond hungry!

"Knorr was founded in 1838 by Carl Heinrich Theodor Knorr. Knorr headquarters are in Heilbronn, Germany." from Wikipedia.

I reside 6 months per year in Toronto, Canada, soon to emigrate there for good, in Canada they got huge Knorr racks, with all the sauces and other stuff, but being from The Netherlands, we love to eat "tosti's" I believe in English terms, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches HAVE TO HAVE Aromat on it.

I called Knorr Netherlands from Canada. Not available in Canada. I need to take a few kilo's of that stuff with me.

Nice! I never tried that on grilled cheese! ... but I have a jar of Aromat in the kitchen, too...it's similar to Maggi's "Fondor," which Germans use in their salads (salat) and vegetables (gemuse) and french fries (pommes). :)

On french fries (or belgium thick ones too) Aromat is the best! I skip the salt and use Aromat whenever I eat fries.

Hmmm. Salad with Aromat, that is a good one, have to try that.

OK, now going out of this screen, it is making me so hungry.
