top - 09:54:14 up 82 days, 22:55, 1 user, load average: 7.94, 5.27, 3.63
That load average is mostly apache! This is a 64bit 3.0ghz machine with 2 gigs of ram. No light weight, and that load is pretty crazy for this kind of box.

if your wandering why things are slow, the load is now:
top - 11:35:48 up 83 days, 37 min, 1 user, load average: 24.10, 17.68, 15.27

- Ok, i turned of SEF on the forums.. i think existing SEF links will still work and it appears to have improved response time dramatically. My other option is to go back to 'unwrapped' mode and emulate the top/menu, that will save some queries for sure..

At any rate Andy, it's one of those "good" problems that you have to deal with every once in a while.

sure it´s bad Code causing the Load... is there any Coder on the System to fix it? ;D
But i got the solution for the Prob... use Frontpope or GiveLive

Yeah, what's the deal about the limited use of Apple servers? I'd like some insight on that too. Are they just for networks and not for hosting websites?
