- Hi Dan, as my test was on a local site I have installed a test site using the rocket launcher so that other components, plugins etc don't confuse the issue. See secure info for details.

- This is the same issue as I reported.

  I can confirm that following the steps
  
  1. get any invalid URL of your website (http://yoursite(dot)site/some-ugly-page)
  2. add to it to ?format=raw or ?format=json or ?format=xml
  
  Will cause this error.
  
  This does not occur with default Joomla templates.
  
  I have not found a resolution to the issue.

  I see there is an existing ticket and I've added to the comments and stressed that this is an important issue...that's all I can do for now.

- Hi Dan, I presume that you have checked that the problem exists on the test site I provided, and is not as you experienced on your local site.
  Did you make the code changes referenced above on your local installation? If not - what would explain the difference?
