all I was interested in was offering the community, as a whole, something more... instead of focusing solely on what the squeaky wheels want. Andy knows what complaints have been lodged against his service better than all of us. that's why he popped in and lent an ear. in the end it's his gig to do with as he wants and I'll never kick myself for proposing it be done better.

Um, here we go with the bonuses being labeled as the norm again. They aren't taking something away without returning something, you were never supposed to have access. So everything you have had until now was a freebie.

No. You were only interested in offering people who don't want to pay a monthly membership something more. Nothing you suggested offered the people who do want to pay the ongoing membership anything at all. Some of your suggestions actually reduced the value of the benefits of what they received (compared to one offs).

The group you tried to help incidentally is the one you belong to. So what you were really trying to do was get yourself forum access again for nothing. Don't try to make yourself sound like some hard done by Martyr suddenly.

I am now out of this thread, as it is no longer constructive and I don't want to get in a sh!t fight. I suggest it gets locked, because nothing useful is going to come of it from now except flames by the looks.
