    • The mod squad is an integral part of the RocketTheme overall team. That is why we recognize them as such on our team page and also the whole team is in constant communication with each other on our IRC channels, Private Modsquad forum, as well as skype. I know the modsquad work tirelessly to try to answer every single post. That is the general guideline we all follow, but just look at the size of these forums. They are huge, so this is a big effort and requires lots of time. Obviously easier questions are tended to be addressed first. Asking a question like "how can i get X functionality from template Y into template Z" is not really considered a support request, that's a custom development effort. Anything that is outside the bounds of a problem or bug in the template or setting it up a certain way is not going to get the same attention.

      We clearly state in our terms and conditions that we do not offer 'official' support for just this reason. If we made a blanket statement committing to official support, it would quickly become abused and we'de be getting irate emails and posts from members because we didn't develop their whole site for them, or didn't create some variation on one of our modules to suite their specific needs.

      Frankly I find these kinds of inflammatory posts highly insulting to the awesome group of moderators we have here at RocketTheme. Our 'unofficial' support is second to none. We take great pride in having a very active and positive vibe in our forums, and I think you will find that there are very few resources on the whole internet never mind other Joomla template clubs that can boast the same.

      That said, I think this thread has run it's course. Any further issues should be posted on their appropriate forums. If you membership has expired, please renew :) We offer 20% discounts and a full year for $75 is worth access to the forum alone, never mind the new templates and extensions.
