    • LOL! Thanks, Nick.

I'll nominate when I feel comfortable with where the site is,a nd I am actually live with a good host...

Not because I think I'll win, but because I feel that supporting RocketTheme and participating is a good thing.

I second that. This is the best community around when it comes to Joomla. I get inspired seeing what other people do with these templates. It gets me excited and inspired when I see someone create a beautiful site out of nothing but a simple template.. Ok, I sound preachy, so I'll move on, I just wanted to remind you that when the conditions are right, have someone nominate your site.

    • Heather,

Being a new member of this famed RocketTheme group I was fortunate to come upon your post.

The site is very very good - in fact excellent. I need someone like you to develop at least 10 sites for me. I mean I love the art of developing but lately my time constraints have kept me from this art. Contact me and we can talk. By the way I must admit I have had some horror stories - one that has been going on for over 10 years.

Dig the choker that you are wearing - very classy.

    • Robert, thank you for your praise. Really, it is still in development, and probably will be for a while (My investor and I are in negotiation about what we need to go "live" for the best effect). There is so much more to do, LOL!

Oh, and the choker - I bought that for myself as a birthday present a few years ago, it's one of my faves! Much appreciation for noticing.

Thanks again. You should have a private message from me.

That choker has nookie written all over it! :)

<blush> LOL! It probably does, really.

Nookie is one of my nicknames from WAY back (long story, but suffice to say that "a nookie" is a hottie), and I feel particularly sassy in that choker.

    • nice site, really nice site. i'm a big fan of using the homepage as one big splash page with little real content and i think you've achieved that - it's a good advert for joomla

    • Thank you, Damo. I appreciate it. There is so much we are doing right now, the main key for me is the organization, which (of course) Joomla handles very nicely.

    • So, GatorHost is eh, ok (not horrible like some hostings I've used). I will be looking for another hosting down the road for adult hosting. But it will do for now.

So, I signed up to your NookieNotes.com ::) didn't get a email conformation. :P I wanted to see what it looked like under the hood. I have a site that is part of 5-6 websites all interconnected (The Jiggle Dance). I have been bumping around the idea of how to handle one of them - killdate.com - everyone goes on this date at least once in their life. <--- Its a spoof site.

You sign up and enter all your info and it spits out a fake obituary, headstone quote, newpaper article etc... (yes, morbid lol) Also, it includes what to wear, should you bring a friend or family member, etiquette, also do's and donts etc... Also, cool things to do before you kick the bucket. Then you can send it to others...to view.

Then I saw your site, but ooooh I couldn't get past the chick thing :P (uhh, I have a shopping story that I could tell you ::), but not here) plus I am just now getting better - boy, I hate getting sick - I can go years with nothing but when I do get sick - I make up for lost time. :(

Yes, your site and concept looks good...you have many things you can expand upon with your theme. The fact that it can self promotes via email and e-cards is well, cool, but do you have something to connect women with other women? Something that they can share with their friends to tell them about the site and what they did with the site? Like share your experience with others kind of theme. Yeah, Yeah - I am a guy, but when it comes to romance I've seen that women sharing with each other about their romance is just as important as the romance itself (okay, maybe not as important but is a part of the romance)

Guys just go to their friends - Yeah, I bought her this and that, then tell if they got lucky. :P Pretty much sums it up for guys, but women tend to share with their friends - what he did, how they felt - blah, blah, blah (this is growing up with all sisters and reading cosmopolitan as a kid - God, why couldn't I have had a brother :P ) Just a thought - take it or leave it. ;D

    • Wow! You have had alot of good feedback! And quite rightly too for a well designed site that looks nothing like the template. Dare I say it? It did hang a little when I first entered it. ;D
