I really do like your scrolling feature on the frontpage. I wish that I had the skills to add that to my site, but the instructional video on Slideshow Pro made my head spin. Maybe I need to revisit it when I am fresh.

Thanks yccreative for all your comments and feedback.
The slideshow pro that i use in the main page uses the other component for the same people
called thumbgrid
http://slideshowpro.net/products/slideshowpro_thumbgrid/
. With Slideshow pro you can have external captions on a text field.
So what i did is inside each caption I had a a rotating images that in reality is a small album running as well from slideshowpro. I just paced with enough time so that 3 small pictures can display before the main picture change.
I'm here to help as well so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
I think that I'll try something simpler for now, and then I can take time over the next 6 months or so, and start to learn such things. I know that I am capable of doing it, but I'm pretty exhausted from learning enough to get as far as I am.

Went through everything on that site and just purchased Adobe Lightroom 2.1 so that I can use
SlideShowPro DIRECTOR, which I think will be a good fit for me AND I think that I can use it to help deal with my photos outside of my website.

I'm currently watching the SlideshowPro Director overview video. Actually, unless it requires the Adobe Flash, THIS might be a good choice for me. Predominantly, I have professional photos taken in large .tiff files. The tend to be a consistent size or two. Before, I have manually configured and compressed them for the web. SlideshowPro Director would be a good choice for me because I can load those large originals into a file and let SSP Director optimize them and publish them on the fly in my site. Back to the instructional vid.

OK, I LOVE SlideshowPro Director. It looks like the PERFECT solution to what I need. However, I MUST find out how to deal with the Adobe Flash CS4 issue. I DON'T have $400+ for this. I'm off to dig around. If you have any help on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

I can get Adobe Lightroom 2.1 for $149, which is the very outside of my budget. I need to see if all of the features would work with this Lightroom. Here's the site:

That's really out of my budget, but thanks. I decided to go with something a little simpler, even though I love what you have done. I purchased Adobe Lightroom and I will give Director a try. Sort of easing into a more realistic level for me. I can't wait to see how I do!
