You can open the images.xml on text editor on Mac, (I'm on Pc) so not to familiar with Mac,

- Wow. Thanks! I hope it works because I have set up my slideshow in a module and if I can enable the pop-ups, I can scale down the size of the slideshow. I haven't tried it yet, because I have to run out the door, but I'm going to give a go tonight! I'll keep my fingers crossed....!

the file images.xml that you create should replace this one here:
http://perfectworldluggage.com/slideshows/bsslideshowA/images.xml
so everything can work. The root is not the right place.
I just compared what you created and need to be replace the one on the right folder

OK-I've tried this using notepad on both my virtual windows machine on my mac AND using my old pc. I've copied exactly what you have there and saved it as images.xml. I saved it as Unicode-8, since that's what is at the top there. I then uploaded it to the correct file. I've gone into:
perfectworldluggage.com/slideshows/bsslideshowA/images.xml
I have to say that it doesn't look EXACTLY the same, but I don't know anything about code, so I'm not sure where the problem is.
However, the pop-up feature STILL isn't working. ARGGG!

Thanks again. I also sent the issue to tech support at SSP, but they don't seem to be any help at all.
I'm going to put in some heavy hours tonight, and I'll see if I can get more stuff up. The whole slideshow issue has put me about a week behind, but it has been well worth it - such a good way to deal with photos!
I simply could not have gotten through this without you. Thanks again.

I was able to test some files, and I have to have the popup window, working you can have a look in here

This works adding the pictures from a local folder, reading from director is not loading.
I'll try to see why doesn't load.

I had sent an email to tech support for those programs, and this is what they sent back:
"Since you are loading content for Director, the images.xml file is not even read, as this information comes from Director.
You need to enable popups in your slideshow via Director hyperlink settings for the album. There should be an option for a chromeless popup on the hyperlink box of the settings page of the album within Director."
I did this and it was a VERY simple fix. If you go to my site, you can now see pop-ups! Which makes me wonder why this easy fix wasn't posted ANYWHERE. I went over those sites very carefully and I wasn't able to find it.
Adobe programs....can't live without 'em, can't understand any of their instructions.
