    • Oh my gosh, thanks SO much. I'm almost on the verge of breaking down and getting the more expensive program EXCEPT, it's really out of my price range (plus I've already purchased lightroom) AND yet another learning curve. I'm really overwhelmed right now trying to get this to work. I have downloaded easySSP, which is supposed to help get this files into Joomla, but I can't figure IT out either.

      I can never thank you enough, Fernando. I promise you I will pay it forward to someone else.

    • I forgot to mention that on the server I create a folder test , and that's where all the files are from lightroom.

    • YES!YES!YES!
      IT WORKS! IT WORKS! My page does it!!!!

      take a look!!!

      perfectworldluggage.com/

      click on "products" and then "Sling Sink"!!!!!!

      I can't believe it is finally in there!!!!!

      I need to change some things, but I am SO happy it is in there!

      There is one more question I have for you...how do I make it so that if someone clicks on the main picture, a REALLY LARGE popup comes up so that they can see the detail of the product?

      Fernando, I simply could not have done this without you. Thank you SO much. So, so much!

      I am going to post how to do this on a BUNCH of forums so that newbies like me don't have to suffer though what I suffered through.

      Thanks again.

    • btw, just FYI, this is what I had tried to put in my article, following the wiki:

      <html>
      <head>

      <script type="text/javascript" src=" perfectworldluggage.com/slideshows/bsslideshowAjs/swfobject.js "><# <script language="JavaScript">
      # var flashvars = {
      # paramXMLPath: "param.xml",
      # initialURL: escape(document.location)
      # }
      # var params = {
      # base: ".",
      # bgcolor: "#D3E8F2",
      # allowfullscreen: "true"
      # }
      # var attributes = {}
      # swfobject.embedSWF(" perfectworldluggage.com/slideshows/bsslideshowA/loader.swf ", "flashcontent", "980", "450", "9.0.0", "expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);
      # </script>

      </head>

      <body>

      # <div id="flashcontent">
      # <!-- Insert non-Flash player code here -->

      That's what happens when the wiki isn't quite clear enough about how to do something and a beginner is trying to follow it.

      DON'T ANYONE USE THE STUFF IN HERE - IT'S WRONG. Use what Fernando posted.

    • Is there anything that can be done for people who have older computers that might not show the player? What do you do for those people on your client's websites?

      And, also, how can I have a really enlarged pop-up of any given picture?

      I'm really excited and proud of myself for sticking with this. I couldn't have done it without you, but there were a dozen times in the past week where I just wanted to throw my hands up and give up. It just goes to show you that if you stick with it, someone will help you get the info that you need.

    • Awesome.

      I glad everything works. Never give up. I do this for 13 years, and it's always an excitement, when things
      work after you struggle.

      Here's the instructions for the pop up from the same wiki file:

      Step Five: Edit "Popup" paths

      If you have Popups enabled in your exported slideshow (which you do by default if not deactivated) then you'll need to update all the pop.html hyperlinks contained in the images.xml you uploaded in Step One. Simply open images.xml in your HTML editor, and perform a find/replace on the entire document replacing "pop.html" with an absolute link like our earlier content above. In other words, change this...
      view plaincopy to clipboard (flash player 9 only)print?

      1. NewWindow=window.open('pop.html' ...

      NewWindow=window.open('pop.html' ...

      ...to this...
      view plaincopy to clipboard (flash player 9 only)print?

      1. NewWindow=window.open(' mydomain.com/slideshow/pop.html ' ...

      NewWindow=window.open(' mydomain.com/slideshow/pop.html ' ...

      When finished save images.xml.

      You should be ok. Let me know if you need more help.
      Take Care

    • how do I get to the images.xml file or page to edit it?

      It is this sort of step that gets me confused. I don't know how to update the pop.html hyperlinks because I don't know how to open images.xml in my HTML editor. I also don't know how to save the changes properly so that I don't screw things up.

      So, I'd like to do this, but don't know where to start or how to start.

      Your website really inspired me, Fernando. Honestly. It is so creative and informative and fun to go to. I don't want my sites to be stagnant and boring. I know that I can do this, but it is hard to learn it all on the fly. Especially when my knowlege base, at the beginning of all of this, was 0. I didn't even know what a cms was!

      It's only because of the people on this forum that I have come so far, btw. This place is a GODSEND.

      So, to stay on track ,I don't know how to open images.xml in my HTML editor (which I am only assuming is Macs TextEdit app.
