Hello folks, Trying to renew our subscription. After entering Visa info and clicking Verify, we get a Page not Found error. Could use your assistance as we have clients waiting.

My Admin Password (admin and other user) is blocked and I can not get into joomla. I have searched this forum and the joomla forum and the standard ways to recever the password do not work. Can anyone suggest a way to get in? What could have caused the password to fail? A hack? How do I prevent this? Please help!!! :cry: Gary

Hi I'm only just starting to get to grips with Joomla! And I seem to have failed at my first attempt.... I've successfully installed Joomla on a server (but not locally). I've downloaded the 'Elemental' RocketTheme template. But when I then try and upload the zip file using installer/templates/site and browsing to the locally stored file on my Mac, I get the error message 'Upload template - Failed. XML setup file is not for a 'template'. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Using Joomla 1.7.4, Modulus template Being towards near the end of developing our site, I turned on Gantry cache and gzip and the cache and gzip in Global Config, having read this: http://www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=15&t=92880&rb_v=viewtopic#p566242 Having enabled cache and gzip in both Gantry template and Global Config, I had the following errors: - In Extension Manager on "Manage" page: Error loading component: com_installer, 1 - On Front End login page: Error * JLIB_APPLICATION_ERROR_COMPONENT_NOT_LOADING Disabling cache and gzip in Global Config fixed it. I also disabled the Gantry ones too. But why did it happen at all? If it's going to cause problems, which of the caches/gzips should I use when we do finally go live?
