Or stonelotus, you do what I have done many times in the past - do 90% of the work for the person you need to do the other 10%
Andy didn't say he -wouldn't- do individual forum access, just that it was too complicated for him to spend time on.
If you write, or pay someone to write a subscription component that will work with Docman and SMF and will give the same functionality to current club members while allowing the one off purchases, then I am sure Andy would go the extra mile and install it.
Now is the perfect time to do it, because the new template is coming soon, with 1.5 and if oyu made the components 1.5 compatible I am sure you would have about a 99% chance of being able to convince Andy to make the changes. -
