OSTraining has several free courses to get you started, but its more detailed classes require a subscription, which start at $25/month. But don’t worry, RocketTheme customers can save up to 40% using our coupon code found in the Perks page.
Best of all, it’s free. Yeah, totally free.
It’s also very unique in how it teaches you how to code. Like a physical camp where people gather and work together to hone their craft, Free Code Camp is a community of 200,000+ developers that work together on projects and build app portfolios. Even more interesting is that while you are learning, you’re also helping nonprofits.
Free Code Camp has curriculums to help you get started, and projects to help you refine the skills you’ve learned. Once you have completed the Free Code Camp curriculum, you will have over 2,000 hours of coding experience, as well as four certifications to add to your resume along with your portfolio from the camp.
So while you’re learning, you’re helping both yourself and nonprofits by building projects that they actually need.
