JoomlaDay, a Joomla-focused day of sessions, workshops, training and networking featuring industry experts and open source software community leaders is heading to Denver, CO on October 1st, and you're invited!

JoomlaDay is a great opportunity to meet fellow Joomla users and developers, learn more about Joomla, and hear from speakers as they offer insight into how they are using, and expect to use the platform for some time to come. Topics covered at JoomlaDay range from user-level tips and tricks to advanced web development and marketing techniques to help you get the most out of the platform.

Among this year's guest speakers is RocketTheme's own Andy Miller, one of the founding members of the core Joomla team. Additionally, he has founded other popular open source projects including Gantry, an open source theming framework available for both Joomla and WordPress, and Grav, a new open source flat-file CMS.

Also speaking at the event is Sara Watz, the President of Open Source Matters and Emmy Award-winning Sara Morris from StoryCatchers Media. The keynote presentation kicking off JoomlaDay is being given by Brad Frost, a leading innovator in the area of web development and creator of numerous tools that help developers get a grasp on modern responsive design.
