Thanks for the update Wage, when your through with all this I'll send you some of my favourite cedar-plank barbecue recipes
...and I still owe you some 'foreplay' when you can have spices again, Wage!
I am in no position to give you advice, but I will stress the importance of walking and moving around after the transplant, as I am sure you know.
I know, I know, you are absolutely drained and it's like having the worst flu of your life to the 10th power, but you have to keep moving to aid in the recovery and let your body start building back the white cells and getting yourself strong again.
Please use me or "my story" any time you wish! I have said it before and I will say it again: If "my story" can be be used as a source of inspiration for just one person, then all of these "difficult-times" would not be without purpose.
Thanks for reading and THANKS for all the "positive vibes" sent my-way!

Wage, you have been in my prayers and will continue to be.
Just remember, the closer you come to your transplant, the closer you get to being cured. I remember when I had anxieties about going through a medical procedure I kept telling myself that is silly because when I thought about it and my situation, I realized there was no place I'd rather be than right there, right then, finally getting better and getting my life back! After that realization, it could never come soon enough!
Just remember, you are never alone in your ordeal and we are all with you. Stay strong, confident and positive.
I won't be able to post many more updates. I woke up this morning, put my laptop in my lap, opened the lid and the hinge snapped right off the base. So, I am taking this as a "sign" and I will have to post from my office computer.... So, because of that, I won't be posting much. I have 16 days until I leave for the transplant.
I want you all to know how much being able to blog here has helped me. My Doctor's recommended it as a form of therapeutic-treatment. And to each of you who took the time to read it, I say Thank You! All of your words of encouragement and well-wishes has helped me tremendously through this ordeal.
If my Mom takes her laptop to Nashville, I may try to post once-or-twice while there. But, if you don't hear from me, don't think "the worst." I will post once I get home with an update. Hopefully a good update!
Thanks again,
Wage

*** Good News ***
I had a Dr.'s Appointment today to check my blood counts before I leave for Nashville.
Everything was Good and what they should be normally! The Vidaza finally "kicked-in" and is working as it should!
I still will need the transplant and the fact that I am in better shape, is a good sign that this Transplant WILL WORK!
I can't believe it! It has been so long since I've had any good news and I was really needing some!
This ordeal is by no means "over", It just means that I have a much better chance of surviving the transplant and a good chance of a cure.
Thanks to all those who read my little blog during this trying ordeal. I want to thank Andy and all the Moderators for letting me blog here. It meant a lot to me!
Thanks, your friend,
