    • How do these integrate with custom templates, such as those at RT? I would like to see a demo of that or know what is involved in getting them to work together.

    • well, it's quite easy..much like Virtuemart, there are a series of plugins, one component and display modules. You install them all...activate them of course, :cheesy: and in the component you set the direct path to the store installation, create a shared password. then you login to your store and set a few parameters...like using the Joomla skin option for the store, etc...and you're done! I'd love to use a rockettheme to create a demo site..I'm not sure how Andy would feel about that.. Actually I'd love to see a RT devoted entirely to the new ClickCart system.

    • Looks pretty good at first glance. I been using VirtueMart for quite awhile now and it's okay for a very small basic shop but I certainly wouldn't like to get too serious with it . I've used a couple of shopping systems before but I prefer ones that integrate with Joomla since this is what I use 99.9% of the time. Let's hope that this new system is a huge improvement on VirtueMart.

I would much rather pay for something that works, rather than get something free that gives you trouble. Rather like the difference between community builder and JomSocial , you get what you pay for

    • Personally I will probably stick to Magento for standalone stores, will be interesting to see something to knock off Virtuemart, although I often don't see what all the fuss is, we have it running on a few sites and seem to have no issues.

Always good to see a new option pop up onto the market, interesting, will take it for a test spin and see how it fairs.

Interested in the template see how easy integration is

    • I wouldn't have so much of a problem with VM if it wasn't for the shipping section. I find it an absolute pain to set up and get right. I used e-commerce couple of years ago and that was absolutely easy to set up.

Is the system actually ready yet?

LOL I have to agree there Penn, you should try the Australia post module, every product needs a weight Agh! the pain of it all, although that is not VM's fault Aust post only goes by weight I share your pain.
