    • For everyone who's fed up with the state of affairs regarding Joomla and Ecommerce integration. Prepare to have your minds completely blown. A friend of mine whose company develops a professional, industry leading ecommerce platform has been working on something that I as a Joomla developer and web design studio owner have been wishing and praying over for years

Virtuemart just makes me sad these days...it had such great potential oh so many years ago, but now...there is something on the horizon that will answers all those wasted prayers and hours spent wishing. (not to mention cursing)

All the hyperbole aside...this is going to be so huge for the Joomla community, I can barely contain my excitement. I nudged my friend a year ago and his company ran with it. The interface is incredible, the functionality...I can't even begin to describe! Finally, REAL e-commerce for Joomla

Andy, if you read this...I approached you about this a year ago...I hope the folk at Rockettheme jump all over it..Keep your ears open and your eyes peeled. I've been told the release is this week!

      Stay Tuned!

    • Ok - I'll be the first to ask. :D Will it be free?

    • All of the components and modules are GPL, the core cart system isn't, but it won't be expensive either.

    • Naah, I think I'll stay with CS-Cart instead.

    • from www.cs-cart.com/shopping-cart.html

The price of a CS-Cart license is $265. Each additional license is available at a $100 discount and costs $165

Man, you have no idea what you'll be missing...the cart system I'm referring to will be sooo much cheaper, native to Joomla and far more advanced. Don't take my word for it though...I predict a major shift in Joomla e-commerce very soon.

    • Scary, but oh so exciting.

Mr Pennington, some more hints would not hurt us.

    • Will you post a link as soon as it comes up? I'm up for beta testing...

    • It's way beyond beta at this point. He's merely tying up some loose ends, figuring out the JED post, tying in promotions like a possible Rockettheme member discount (hint, hint Andy) that sort of thing.
