And with 1.6 "somewhere" on the horizon, I'm not getting to wrapped up over ACL for now...
Yea that's a good point. My only problem is I'm using FlexiContent for a City website that won't be transferring over to 1.6 for probably a year and they need the ACL that Emmanuel and his team are building.

    • looks like they are going after apple's iphone model... charge for apps... I love how they act like by charging for apps and extending membership term limits is taking care of their paid clients... justification...

FlexiContent and FlexiAccess is a phenomenal CCK Component when used together. I'm anxious to see what the new Zoo CCK is when it's released but I can't see what Sebold and K2 have that would make it a component you'd want over FlexiContent and FlexiAccess.

      Try to be the best...

jSeblod CCK is full compatible with a lot of ACL components, like JUGA and Open Source Membership Management System...
jSeblod CCK is full compatible with all Joomla content plugins (tags, comments, vote, videos, google map...), hundreds of plugins, modules...
jSeblod CCK has the more powerfull search and list (filter) engine never see in web software (soon priority in search or list results)
jSeblod is alone to be really integrated to Joomla interface, very easy for our client
jSeblod is alone at this time to manage front-end submission with a lot of features

      @Open Potion
jSeblod has already "charge for apps" with CCK Packs (Yoo take this concept from jSeblod CCK ;))

Soon, create any slideshow of content filtered by any fields of your content...
Soon, jSeblod CCK and Joomla 1.6 with full integration of ACL from Joomla 1.6, nested categories (and we add multi-categories feature).
Soon, a lot of Drag and Drop features and not only in template or content type...

Our Leitmotiv is innovation and at this day we inspire others CCK... but few people know jSeblod CCK because we are totally new in Joomla Word.

jSeblod CCK is for people who want build quickly advanced specific components (like in Drupal word, like with cck pack) to be used in the box by end user (like our clients).
jSeblod is build to answer all your need that's why it use others extensions to allow you to select which one answer your need (for example all comment extensions are compatible).

      Best Regards.

    • Dont get me wrong – both (JSebold and Flexi) just got "stable" with some updates in the near future (tho both are great extensions). What I need is a tool with a code freeze that is well established.
Zoo 1 has a calm and smoth history of updates (well K2 is a bit different :-) ). I expect the same with Zoo 2. So I will wait for this ... and compare them to your solutions :-)
