I would say wait another year. So many things don't work with 1.5.
The real measure will be the number of purchases you get in 2009.
So, I'd vote for keeping 1.0 going. In lieu of that, good to see you'll still support 1.0
Might I suggest you finally update Blogtopia for 1.0 before you go. Perhaps a Christmas Bonus. So many small sites want a big header and that is the best template for it.
Well, Considering I just joined tonight, and this announcement was not visible to me (or at least was not made prominent) until AFTER I paid the full 1 year membership fee, I feel a little cheated. Had I known before joining that you were going to stop making 1.0 templtes in only 5 weeks would I still have joined? Probably...but it would have been nice to know before paying.

I find that cutting the templates development of 50% (no more 1.0 templates) and doubling the membership annual fee is a total shame and a nonsense for existing professional members. Why should I choose the 400 USD developer option (even if renewal costs 300 USD), if I have already access to all the templates up to the expiration of my membership? RT is just going the wrong way, that's all.
Hold on, the pro membership is still US$200 right ?
Spare a thought for we Australians, our currency has crashed by 50% against the USD since July
The US is in chaos, but the Aus economy is doing ok, so what's THAT all about ?
