It's much more effective to make fun of the people using it verses us ranting here. So, I say this thread should turn into to good ways to bust on people still using IE6 or let alone IE.
Things like this -
"Wow! A Walkman in a Ipod age...I haven't seen a browser that old in almost a decade."
Or
"You know on the news when you hear about "idiots" using out dated browsers and getting hacked? That would you!"
I can go all day.

I simply charge more for designing for IE6.
And make it a basic HTML site.
Suddenly, the 'need' to be compatible with IE6 is not important when cost is involved.
Keep it simple - design sites for today's technology. IE7+, and the 'good' browsers.
Then, a second, simple HTML website for the IE6 design.
2 website designs, double the price.
And, if we go back to dialup days, we offered options for 'Text Only'
Have that IE6 warning box pop up, say something witty like the '8-track tapes? wow!' and then give them a link to the 'IE6 only' site.
Now I have to go use my rotary phone to find a gas station that still sells Leaded Gasoline.

Make it so you can't play videos in ie6 and you will see many upgrades.
