Thanks for the mini tutorial!!! I have placed the Joomla_RT_Catalyst Template on my FTP. and went to up load as mentioned in the mini tutorial and it only gave me the option to download?? What have i done wrong??? Thanks for any help!!!

      1. Unzip Joomla_RT_Catalyst.zip (for J1.0), you get the folder Joomla_RT_Catalyst.
For J1.5, unzip Joomla_RT_Catalyst_j15 and you have the folder Joomla_RT_Catalyst_j15.

      2. If you don't want your site in a subfolder, ftp the content of Joomla_RT_Catalyst (for J1.0) or Joomla_RT_j15 (for J1.5) to your root, then point www.yoursite.com and follow the J installation steps.

      3. If you want your site in a subfolder, rename Joomla_RT_Catalyst folder, for example test.
Then upload the folder test to root. Point www.yoursite.com/test and install.

    • Well i have a question that may sound stupid but what is the difference between a sub folder and a none sub folder? Or i guess a better way to ask this question is what is a sub folder?? And as far as the options you mentioned before option 2 was what i was trying to do

      2. If you don't want your site in a subfolder, ftp the content of Joomla_RT_Catalyst (for J1.0) or Joomla_RT_j15 (for J1.5) to your root, then point www.yoursite.com and follow the J installation steps.

And i put the Unzipped file on my FTP but where do i go from there? im not sure how to access the Joomla installation steps that were mentioned??
And again thank you for any help you can be!!!!!

    • 1. By subfolder, I mean for example this path: public_html/Joomla_RT_Catalyst or httpdocs/Joomla_RT_Catalyst

It would mean that you upload the folder Joomla_RT_Catalyst to root.

In this case, access to installation would be: www.yoursite.com/Joomla_RT_Catalyst

      2. No subfolder path: the content of Joomla_RT_Catalyst (administrator, cache, CHANGELOG.php, components, etc. = 27 elements) is uploaded directly to public_html or httpdocs (root).

In this case, access to installation would be: www.yoursite.com

    • I've been a member on the site for over a year and this is my first problem and first post...

I installed The rocketlauncher files (Joomla_RT_Replicant_j15) to my folder of choice on my site. I then open my the url to install joomla and I get the following error message:
Warning: main(/home/rocket10/public_html/home/installation/includes/defines.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/rocket10/public_html/home/installation/index.php on line 19

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/rocket10/public_html/home/installation/includes/defines.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/rocket10/public_html/home/installation/index.php on line 19

I can't figure it out because the define.php is in the proper folder. Please help.

      Thank You

    • You may wish to reupload all the files to see if there are any missing.

    • You'd have to remove your current Joomla installation first, I'd backup first though.`

    • Thanks for your help, reinstall and works. ;D

One more question, when i started the configuration of rocketlauncher in the root web i try configure to db that i was created but doesnt work. So i gave to another database that has no password and it worked. Now I am concerned if it worked because the user who has used have all the privileges on or open for anyone to access. any hint? my url: www.lansite.com.br
