I have an important Doctor's appointment tomorrow and we are having a snow storm! We hardly ever get snow, we normally just get a bunch of sleet and ice. But this time, we are getting a lot of snow! Allison is wanting to go play in it so-badly! My 15yr old son Zack said he'd take her out in it tomorrow and build a snowman! I wish that I could, but it would be EXTREMELY careless on my part! The last thing that I need is to get sick again!
I'll post some pictures of the snowman if I can!

Due to the snow and Ice, my Doctor's appt. has been rescheduled until next week! It's getting sloppy around here because the first-wave of snow melted a bit and then refroze! We are supposed to get more snow tonight and blistering cold winds tomorrow!
I'm not getting out in this mess!

I have to start another
Vidaza®
cycle next week. I have to do 6-straight days this time. Boy! It seemed like it took 'forever' to get out of my system last-cycle and I still feel kinda "sluggish."
Hopefully, this will be the last or next-to-last cycle of the
Vidaza®
then I can have this transplant!
I want to thank you friends for the words of encouragement and for reading my "little-blog!" I'll continue posting until I actually leave for Nashville. I'm not taking my laptop this time so I will be completely "out-of-touch" until I get back!
Thanks for reading!

Doctor's appointment today. My hemoglobin was WAY-OFF again! The normal range, for a male my age, is between: 13.8 to 17.2 gm/dL Today, my count was 4.5 gm/dL. That was dangerously - low again! The Doc ordered me to receive 4-units of blood (twice what I normally should need). So, I received the first two today and will return in the morning to receive the other two. After I get the third and fourth units, I will immediately start another week-cycle of the
Vidaza®
. I don't know how many more cycles I will have to endure before I leave for Nashville, but they will keep giving it to me until I do actually begin the transplant.

I received the third and fourth unit-of-blood today. I have had 4-units in two days! It is AMAZING how much better I feel!
It's funny, as I was walking out of the Hem/Onc Clinic today, everyone was saying "Oh, you look SO Much better Mr. Wagers!" One of the Male Nurses said that when I came in originally, I looked like "Death - Warmed-over!" But everyone noticed that my "color" was so much better! It's amazing what a difference a little blood can make!
