I am REALLY dragging-around! I'm not from North Carolina but I feel like a Tar-Heel! Besides the sluggish feeling, I am starting to feel a little anemic again! My Doctor told me that he was going to change my routine lab-work to once-a-week because every-other-week routine wasn't "cutting-it!" I HATE these symptoms I feel each time! I was feeling so good until today when I started feeling a little hint-of-this and a little hint-of-that! Now my muscles are crampy and my head and eyes hurt!

      Thanks for reading my babble

    • Hi Robert,

My Wife has just come out the other side of cancer and is remission. PM your address and I'll send you a book. She read this at the beginning of her treatment in 2009 and has started to keep herself fit and eating the right foods.

For the life of me I can't remember the name of it but I've just finished reading it. Its all about the bodies natural abilities to fight cancer and how you can start to boost your ammune system.

I don't know if it's relevant now but trust me when I say my jaw dropped to the grown throughout the book.

When I get home tonight I'll find out the name of it and post it here. If you then want it, I'll post it to you.

Take care and keep your head held high.

Also, update us on your progress. I hope things are looking up.

    • Hi Wage,
I've been following your blog and haven't heard anything in a few days. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Remember to take it just one day at a time. :arrowu:

    • Thanks for your concerns everyone. I am at the downward slide once again. I have been spending alot of time in bed. I only have two options when I feel like this:
      1) Goto the Emergency Room
      2) Wait for an appointment.

I don't like to do Option 1 unless I absolutely have to. I have a "depressed immune-system" and everyone waiting in the ER are there with some sort of contagious illness. The last few-times to the hospital I was Neutropenic (no Neutrophiles) and I had to go into a specially filtered room. So, I'm very cautious and careful as to who I get around and where I go!

So, I have chosen to go the Option 2 route... Which means I will feel badly for a couple-more-days (Mar 8th). So again, I am not doing much of anything and sleeping alot!

Thanks for checking on me guys!

My Doctor told me when I started the Vidaza® treatments that "It might take a while, but it will eventually make you feel better!" I can report that it has been a "trying time" while waiting for it to "kick-in" but suddenly I am feeling a lot better! I don't want to "Jinx-it" but I am starting to feel "half-way-normal" again! Man! I hope this lasts for a while! I might even try to exercise a little! I will have to really think about that before I "go crazy!"

Thanks for all your support guys and gals! I know it has helped alot to be able to "Blog" here about it!

      Thanks for reading my "Babble."

"Yeah, I should have known better!"
Just as soon as I posted that I was feeling better, WAM! I am feeling anemic again! I was feeling so good for those few days, that I quit "being careful" and I got caught "off-guard!"

I went to Guitar Center to get some new guitar strings, and my heart started racing making me feel faint and light-headed! I should have just sent my wife to get them for me. But, when One sits at home all-the-time, like I do, One looks for any excuse to get out of the house!
I should have just stayed home!
      Lesson learned!
