Well, I'm starting to feel IT again! This time I have scheduled appointments on Feb 14th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th for chemo each day.

I was feeling pretty decent until yesterday until that same-ole feeling of being anemic showed up again! I can hardly move around at all without my heart racing and all of my muscles begin to ache!

It's snowing like crazy right now and I won't be able to get to the hospital until it stops and the roads are cleared. This is gonna get interesting!

      Anemia Anemia please go-away!

I am really feeling it now and I have to "hold-out" until the 22nd. I hate it when I get really anemic like this, because it forces you to pay-attention to every little move you make. Just typing these words is making my arms and shoulders hurt! When I get really low on my blood-counts, there's just no way to put it out of your mind. I feel it constantly! Especially if I try to do something "outrageous" like, get up out of my recliner and walk around the house!

I hope I can make it 'till the 22nd because I don't like going into the Emergency Room. It stresses my wife out

      Thanks for reading my babble!

Well, I ended up having to go into the Emergency Room again on Friday. My counts just kept-on falling and I wasn't getting any better..... So, I quit being a "hard-head" and asked my wife to take me in! It's a good thing I got there when I did because along with my anemia symptoms, I started running a fever and was having chills. The ER Doctors checked my blood counts and I was, AGAIN, extremely Anemic and Neutropenic! So, I was admitted and put into a "Neutropenic-precautions" room and given 3 units of blood again!
But, "there is No-Place like Home!"
I can see how this "cycle" is increasing in frequency now and I am not gonna get any better until I have this transplant!

      Thanks for reading!

I started another Vidaza® series today! This time I go for 5-days "On" and 2-weeks "Off."
The past couple of weeks have been tough! I hate how the anemia makes me feel! It's so stressful on the body and the mind! I really appreciate the days that I feel good and "somewhat normal." I always try to do as many activities as I can, because it doesn't take long before I begin feeling badly again.

      Thanks for reading my "babble"

I had my 3rd dose of the Vidaza® today. It's already making me extremely tired! I had a hard-time getting out of bed this morning. Even after I did get out of bed, I felt as though someone was pushing the Slow-Motion playback button! I had no energy at all! I have 2-more doses (Friday & Saturday) before I get another break. I hope this stuff works! The Doctor says it will take a while but it WILL make me feel better eventually.

If you step back and take look from the outside then something good has happened. You're still able to post here :cheesy:

Reality is that the bad times help us to appreciate the good times. Those of us who don't experience bad times just expect too much when it comes to good times. They say that if it wasn't for the hills we would have no valleys to appreciate.

Life would be boring if it was all flat and easy.

Keep it up my man and look forward to the good times 8)
